The Entrance

A More Welcoming Arrival

This Flamborough home had a small, outdated front entrance surrounded by overgrown planting. The client wanted a grander arrival that would improve curb appeal and create a comfortable place to sit near the house.

Creative Concepts reconsidered the porch, landing, steps and walkway as one connected entrance. The existing porch was covered with square-cut flagstone, with stone steps leading to a spacious walkway and a more inviting approach to the home.

A herringbone paving pattern, natural stone accents and landscaped gardens brought the entrance together. The stonework and planting give the front of the home a more polished, welcoming presence while making room for the sitting area the client wanted.

The Details

Stonework That Defines the Entrance

Square-cut flagstone finishes the existing porch, with stone steps leading down to the herringbone walkway. Natural stone accents and landscaped gardens complete the entrance.
